Carnoustie Buddon Links
The Buddon Links Course is part of Carnoustie Golf Links and opened in 1981. Built on former military land, it was designed by Dave Thomas and Peter Alliss. As a historical reference, each hole is named after a military battle.
The course combines open links stretches with more sheltered sections, offering a varied playing experience. Water hazards and lakes come into play on several holes, contributing both strategically and visually, particularly on the 11th. Buddon Links provides a more accessible yet still challenging round and works well as a complement to the Championship Course and Burnside.
Carnoustie Buddon Links is a strong option for golfers seeking variety within the Carnoustie area, with a clear identity and consistently high playing quality.
