Viking Trail is fully customizable in duration, sequence and course selection, and you can begin the journey in the country that best suits your travel plans. For the most natural progression, we recommend starting in Copenhagen and concluding at Lofoten Links in northern Norway.
The journey is especially rewarding from late May to mid-July, when long Nordic evenings and the midnight sun define the experience.

2 Nights
Your journey begins in Denmark with a stay at Great Northern Golf & Spa Resort on Funen, approximately 1.5 hours from Copenhagen Airport. Settle into refined surroundings and enjoy two rounds on the acclaimed Great Northern Course, combining championship design with understated Scandinavian elegance.
Skåne, Sweden
4 Nights
Continue across the Øresund to Sweden’s southern coastline. Stay at Barsebäck Resort and Kristianstad Golf Club, playing a selection of Pine, Ocean, East and West courses. This stage blends classic links influences with modern Scandinavian course architecture in open, coastal landscapes.
Oslo, Norway
2 Nights
Fly to Oslo for a stay at Lily Country Club. Enjoy a round at Miklagard Golf, a modern championship layout set in natural surroundings just outside the Norwegian capital.
Lofoten, Norway

The final stage takes you north of the Arctic Circle to Lofoten Links.
