Murcar Links

Murcar Links is a classic links course with strong local roots and a long tradition along the Aberdeenshire coastline. It offers an honest and authentic links experience where nature, wind and firm ground define the character of play.

The fairways are open yet strategically positioned, with deep bunkers and greens that reward precise approach shots. Exposed to the North Sea, wind conditions vary from round to round, demanding both control and sound tactical decisions. Murcar Links is less staged than some of the more famous championship venues, yet maintains a consistently high standard of quality.

This is a traditional links course with a fair but demanding design, and a fine example of classic north-east Scottish golf – focused, genuine and free from unnecessary elements.
